Project Management

What You Will Do

 

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle for low-voltage system installations including access control, security cameras, intrusion detection, and AV systems from kickoff through final commissioning.

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and internal teams throughout the duration of each project.

 

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and documentation using Excel and Bluebeam.

 

  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and equipment deliveries to keep projects on time and on budget.

 

  • Conduct site walks and project meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure work meets scope and quality standards.

 

  • Review project drawings, change orders, and RFIs and communicate updates clearly to all stakeholders.

 

  • Identify project risks early and implement solutions to keep projects moving forward.

 

  • Maintain thorough project records including meeting notes, submittals, closeout documentation, and as-builts.

Required Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of experience in project management in the low-voltage, construction, or technology integration industry.

 

  • Proficiency in Excel for budget tracking, scheduling, and project reporting.

 

  • Experience using Bluebeam for plan review and project documentation.

 

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-facing presence.

 

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.

 

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience managing low-voltage or systems integration projects in commercial environments.

 

  • Familiarity with access control, IP camera, intrusion, or AV systems.

 

  • Experience working alongside general contractors and coordinating with multiple trades.

 

  • Knowledge of submittal processes, RFI management, and project closeout procedures.

 

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training.

 

  • Experience with project management or construction management software.

 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
